Grants were awarded following round 3 of applications.
Trustees of the Achieve Equity Foundation approved funding in May 2025 for grant applications in the third round that totalled over £13,700 and will benefit nine schools. The trustees were delighted with the range of applications and the different ways that the funding is aiming to be used to benefit disadvantaged learners.
Some of the successful grant projects included;

- Mark Mate AI to transform feedback for disadvantaged pupils

- A breakfast club to ensure pupils—particularly those eligible for free school meals—start the day with a hot meal and a sense of belonging.
- A targeted literacy intervention. This 7-week programme will boost reading, grammar, and punctuation through personalised tutoring aligned with classroom learning.
- A targeted breakfast club for Year 7 disadvantaged learners to encourage positive routines, improve punctuality, and boost readiness to learn.
- Creating a dedicated library to support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- A wildlife garden and outdoor classroom, linking gardening and horticulture to subjects like science, art, and food technology.
- An outdoor learning programme to boost confidence, self-esteem, and engagement through hands-on activities linked to curriculum goals and a KS4 Outdoor Learning Qualification.
