What is the project?
Meadows First School has secured funding to install a Reading Shed, creating a dedicated outdoor space for disadvantaged pupils to develop a love of reading. Led by Wendy Dwyer, the project will provide a welcoming environment with diverse books, seating, and peer-led reading activities.
How will learners benefit?
The initiative will enhance literacy skills, promote social and emotional wellbeing, and foster a community of readers, ensuring all children have the resources to thrive.
